DescriptionThe Receptionist will provide a support role to the Director of Administration. This staff member will be assigned tasks to support programmatic and operational functions. This job operates in a professional office environment that creates an atmosphere that respects and embraces the engagement of all people, ideas and backgrounds and aligns with United Way’s values. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Occasionally, an employee might be asked to carry/transport heavy items up to 40lbs. The areas of responsibilities are in the full job description below; however, additional tasks may be requested by the supervisor.

ClassificationExempt (40 hour work week), Full Time, Part Time

EducationMinimum of an associate's degree in business. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.

ExperienceMinimum of (2) years of experience in office management is preferred.

PositionEarly Head Start Teacher

DescriptionThe United Way Early Learning Center Teacher is responsible for working with all United Way Early Learning Center (UW-ELC) staff to better meet the development needs of Early Head Start children and their families as prescribed by the Head Start Performance Standards. This position provides quality services in the timeline mandated by the Head Start Performance Standards. The Teacher is responsible for supporting the social and emotional development of children and encouraging the support and participation of the families of the children in the UW-ELC program.
