PositionCommunity Impact Coordinator

DescriptionBasic Job Summary:  The Community Impact Coordinator supports the organization’s mission by assisting with programs and partnerships that strengthen financial stability, improve health outcomes, expand youth opportunities, and build community resilience. This position works closely with the Director of Community Impact to coordinate initiatives across all four impact areas: Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency. The role provides direct support for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, Bank on Acadiana, and local Reentry Coalitions, and other community-based projects that advance United Way of Acadiana’s impact work.

PositionEarly Head Start Teacher

DescriptionThe United Way Early Learning Center Teacher is responsible for working with all United Way Early Learning Center (UW-ELC) staff to better meet the development needs of Early Head Start children and their families as prescribed by the Head Start Performance Standards. This position provides quality services in the timeline mandated by the Head Start Performance Standards. The Teacher is responsible for supporting the social and emotional development of children and encouraging the support and participation of the families of the children in the UW-ELC program.
